Introduction:
In a bid to foster international academic collaboration and acknowledge exceptional scholarly achievements, the Padjadjaran University proudly presents the Padjadjaran Overseas Student Scholarship for Master Program (POSSMA-ASEAN). Open to students from the ASEAN region, this prestigious scholarship offers a remarkable opportunity for master’s degree aspirants to elevate their educational pursuits.

Who Qualifies?
This scholarship warmly welcomes citizens of ASEAN countries (excluding Indonesia) and Timor-Leste, including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The initiative aims to empower bright minds across various academic fields.

The Program and Its Scope:
One of the standout features of the POSSMA-ASEAN scholarship is its inclusivity, encompassing all study areas. Approximately 20 scholarships will be awarded to deserving candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: Applicants must hold citizenship in an ASEAN country (excluding Indonesia) or Timor-Leste.
• Admission: Candidates should have successfully applied and gained admission to the master’s program, taught in Bahasa Indonesia, commencing in the year 2023.
• Academic Background: Aspiring scholars must possess a bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• No External Sponsorship: Applicants should not be sponsored by an external scholarship provider.
• Language Proficiency: A minimum score of TOEFL PBT 450, TOEFL IBT 45, IELTS 5.0, TOEIC 440, or Duolingo English Test 80 is required. Alternatively, the UNPAD English Language Test (ELT) certificate (maximum 2 years) or an International TOEFL – Internet-Based Test (IBT) from British Council, IALF, and IDP, or Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) from Pusat Layanan Tes Indonesia (PLTI) is acceptable.
• Documentary Support: Applicants must provide the necessary supporting documents.

Rewards:
The POSSMA-ASEAN scholarship offers a comprehensive range of benefits to facilitate the academic journey of recipients:

• Full Fee Offset: Enjoy full fee coverage for up to four semesters.
• Indonesian Language Program: Receive a full fee offset for one semester of the Indonesian Language Program.
• Living Allowance: Benefit from an annual living allowance of IDR 30,000,000 for a maximum of two years.
• International Airfare: Secure a round-trip international airfare in the economy class.
• Health Insurance: During the program, recipients will have access to health insurance.
• Limited Stay Permit: Stay worry-free with a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) throughout the program.
• Thesis Research Fund: Access funds of IDR 30,000,000 per year for up to two years to support your thesis research.

Important Notes:

• The scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
• It cannot be held concurrently with another Universitas Padjadjaran scholarship.
• External sponsorship from scholarship providers outside Universitas Padjadjaran is not permissible.
